Baby Safety
You and your family’s safety in my studio is always my top priority. These are some of the steps I always follow to keep you safe:

-
Covid 19 vaccine – first shot received in June with my second shot due in August.

-
Up to date vaccination for Whooping Cough

-
Current First Aid Certification from Australian Training Institute in Education and Care Setting with a focus on children and infants, including CPR

-
Current Liability Insurance

-
Handwashing and sanitizing before, during and after every session

-
Happy to opt for a contactless session with verbal instructions given and/or to wear a mask

-
I will postpone sessions if I am unwell

-
Clients must be without illness for 72 hours prior to a studio session

-
Gowns, outfits and fabric are cleaned and sanitized after every session

-
The studio is cleaned and sanitized after every client

-
The studio is kept at a warm temperature to ensure the baby’s comfort.

I have loads of patience and I will take my time to be gentle and relaxed with the posing and wrapping of your baby. I never put a baby into a pose they are not comfortable with (although I won’t give up quickly if baby just needs a little comfort, burping or pat to settle into the pose). I will always ensure the baby is safe rather than a shot taking priority.
Some photos require what is called a composite image. This is when I take multiple photos and put them together in Photoshop. This means that at all times, your baby is supported. For example, the removal of a parents hands ensuring the The finished photo might lead to an illusion that the baby is suspended unsupported, which means that for the finished product it could be a composite of several shots in Photoshop, to remove supports to ensure there are no risks taken.

If you have any questions at all about safety, I encourage you to ask.
